Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the oldest of three children, was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, an ex-real estate developer was the grandpa of Eileen, who had emigrated from Greece back in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. Her parents got married in 1976. Psaki is also from Polish descent. She attended Greenwich High School 1996. In 2000, she completed her studies at the College of William & Mary. She received an undergraduate degree in English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega Sorority member. Psaki has been an athlete in backstroke at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki's career path began in 2001, when she was a part of the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. Psaki was the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. representative, and was the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki's role as an analyst for the 2022 United States elections, and in the presidential election of 2024. In 2023, Psaki will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming platform.
